Haunted by his sister's death at the hands of a drunk driver, Mason Winward spirals into despair, intent on revenge. A stranger named Fagan saves him from the brink of committing murder, and under his guidance, Mason finds a new purpose.
The two become close until one day Fagan suddenly vanishes, leaving no trace that he ever even existed.
Along comes Alex, Mason’s best friend, and fellow idiot, who, despite his astounding immaturity, happens to have invented a time-portal.
Together, they honour Fagan’s legacy by dedicating their lives to travelling back in time and rescuing kids from the brink of irreversible despair. They are the better Samaritans. The pioneers of our generation.
Until they save the wrong child.
Fagan is a tale of redemption—a testament to the indomitable human spirit that rises from the depths of grief and anger and becomes a saviour of those who cannot save themselves.
Have you ever wondered how the process of writing a book works? Most authors will type "The End" and then that's where the work begins. Hundreds of hours of self-edits, adding and removing content, looking for gaps in the plot, and inconsistencies in the timeline.
And then it's the turn of BETA READERS. Beta readers are an essential part of the publishing process. They take the raw work from an author and read it with fresh eyes, providing feedback on characters, plot, flow, writing style and many other aspects. Their feedback shapes the novel and without them, books would be all the poorer.
And then it's the turn of the ARC READER. ARC stands for Advanced Reader Copy, and is exactly as it suggests. When the book is written, edited, proof-read, cover created, blurb written and the novel is just a few lowly months from release, our ARC readers get the opportunity to read it before anyone else.
What do they do for this privilege? Well, the ARC reader is responsible for writing a review on one of four major platforms: Goodreads, Bookbub, Amazon and Google Play. Of course, there are many other platforms too, but most publishers rely on these four for their ARC reviews.
If you like the idea of being a beta or ARC reader, we want to hear from you. Current projects are listed above and our Beta and Arc readers are the first to know about new books and exciting new opportunities.
